I’ve loved horses for as long as I can remember. My first horse, who wasn’t actually my horse, was a Quarter horse on the farm I grew up on. We didn’t own or work the farm. My parents leased the house on the 500 acre farm. At the age of fifteen, a friends Arabian had a colt that I fell in love with and my parents purchased him for me. Four years later, a change of residence, and expecting my first child, made the decision for me to sale him. Life happened and many years passed. Somewhere along the way I almost gave up on my dream to own horses then I read about a Straight Egyptian Arabian farm and went for a visit. The cost almost crushed my dream instantly.
Many more years passed, then one day in 2012 I did it…I bought a beautiful Straight Egyptain Arabian mare named TF Kashmeeraa! To this day, I feel blessed and proud. I also think it’s very cool that her pedigree traces all the way back to King Solomon’s herd through Botswana, her sire. Jabbarah is a result of my first breeding and she tied for Champion in her class and was awarded Reserve Champion at the 2014 Egyptian Event. Jabbarah scored in the top five of all the files and mares at the show and I was awarded a Breeding Excellence award! Very humbling.
